A paper I wrote on inertia for Science class today!
I got an 80 on this paper.
I forgot to mention inertia!
Hahahaha
I was 22 years old on a road trip, taking a hidden route on the highway. It was a pretty rainy day, no one could see much of anything through the hail pitter-pattering on their windshields. I was feeling pretty drowsy, just driving free to capture some sense of independence. I believe the car was going 65mph. I wasn’t wearing my seatbelt because I thought it was a bunch of bull. I was in College, what can I say?
All of a sudden, the man before me screeched to a halt. I was about 10 feet off his bumper, and I slammed right into it. I immediately hit the steering wheel and my whole body shook with terror. Before I knew it, the force had possessed me; I went flying through the broken glass. I felt the hail pellets upon my sensitive skin. I wanted the moment to end.
My car was totaled, the engine went underneath the car, making a loud crunch. I squinted, hoping I would live. It all happened so fast. My front bumper and headlights were completely wrecked. The man got out of his car and ran over to me, asking if I was okay. I quietly tilted my head, and looked up into my future husband’s eyes. Yes, I did survive, and we have perhaps the silliest story, but I learned something very important that day: you can’t take risky chances and you should always wear your seatbelt.
Haha, I don't know where this story came from (Erik the Science teacher said be creative!) ;D
