Blogging from my Palm-Pre

While I am on the road, lifelessly making our way through Portland, Oregon while I listen to some techno remixes of Yoko Ono's, I figured I'd try this whole blogging using my phone thing...

My boyfriend woke up early today to make his way to Starbucks, only to let me find out he didn't pick me up a frappuccino! For once I feel like I have it all figured out. It's a good feeling, really.

My grandma and I had a good visit. She's aging well, and still pulling through!

I'm new to all this Palm-Pre stuff, but I gotta say I'm enjoying it so far!

Wouldn't Change Any Moment

He makes me so freaking happy.
I'm on cloud nine.

Christmas morning was a success! I got some nice gifts from the family, and our family got a Wii. My mom always thinks it's sooooo great to get me socks and PJs as the ONLY clothing items I ever get (oh, and don't forget sweaters), and my dad thinks it's awesome to include shortbread in our stockings. This year I was so unpleased by this that I swung the shortbread across the room (I promise you I'm not a spoiled brat). Whoops...

I received a gift card to MAC cosmetics (which I oh-so-disparately needed!) from my cousin Steffi, and a digital photo album from my aunt and uncle.

HE came over Christmas morning just to give me a kiss and wish me a Merry Christmas. We have so many more memories ahead of us. I've blocked out the images of my parents playing golf on Wii Play while we were out. -shudders-

Perhaps... just perhaps life is looking up.

Well, it was until I spilled my "Christmas beer" all over my computer and the keys stopped working. -smug- I'm sooooo intensely proud of myself for that. Luckily, we have a warranty that will pay for repair for free. Sadly, we have to ship the laptop to ANOTHER STATE! AGAINNNN.

A Few Updates

I'm so thrilled for the new life I have made for myself here in real-world Washington, USA. SO, I thought I would create a list of changes in my life. Sound super duper exciting!?!? Okay! Here we go!

1). I'm close to my mom, whom I love and adore for teaching me the things she did.

2). I still bitch at my dad, whom I love and adore for teaching me the things HE did.

3). I've found a guilty pleasure in Metallica and Dokken music. I'm becoming a metalhead, aren't I? Crap...

4). I've found a guy I can share my life with - FINALLY!

5). After I found my idol smoking her life away, I bettered myself to become much higher than that as a teenager and started podcasts to advise others not to (see: "Push Me Away" by The Last Goodnight).

6). I've become a more laid-back, enjoyable person.

7). I've created some strong friendships - those whom I get to share every weekend with and have tons of laughter after school hours.

8). I've made peace with my flaws, and forgiven what I don't know about life.

9). I've decided on becoming a therapist later in life, and releasing some teen-help books. I really feel like giving back to people.

10). Most importantly: I've made this blog more "teenager" (look out mom and dad)!

Ho Ho Ho!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

My family just got done decorating our tree. Do you like??

I see the presents underneath await our unwrapping. I get so excited around this time of the season!

I got my gorgeous Palm Pre as my #1 gift, a couple weeks early (I was in dire need of a phone!) and loooooove it. If you're dying to know, my number is: (360) 970-5235. If you're reading this and love my blogs, feel free to give me a ring! I apologize if you catch me at an awkward time. That can happen a lot. -giggle-snort-
